A play about the challenges and consequences of robotic actors. The play appears to be a simulation of the use of robots as stage actors. In the beginning, the audience believes they are watching a traditional American play, but as the “rehearsal” continues, they come to realize the actors are less than human. When a single human actor is brought onto the cast, disastrous results follow. The play ends by begging the question – do we control the robots, or do the robots control us?
